Whats your surf level?
We often ask ourselves what is our surf level, which surf break should i go or what type of board should i be riding. We tried to be as objetive as possible with this levels so you can maybe find your level and choose the best experience we offer depending on your surfing. Remember that every surf break is different and every day waves can change shape, direction and size depending on tides, wind and swell direction so we will always try to find bes conditions for your surf level based on our local surfing knowledge.

By this, we will always try to suit your experience and try to make the best out of it, maximize your session on water and enjoy as much as possible while on your surf session.

Level 1: Beginner

FIRST TIMER: Learn the basic surf equipment such as Saefty signals and aspects, basic paddle technique, take off technique , parts of the board, basic surf etiquette and surf break sections.

PASS THE BREAK: How to turtle Roll and pass the waves over, improve Take off, learn surf break sections, getting comfortable in the water. start distributing your weight on the board back and forth

PASS THE BREAK: Catch unbroken waves, sit and move around by yourself on the break, generate speed while paddling to match the speed of the wave when catching it, drop in at the right angle of the wave and start making rail work to go side ways while taking off

READINGS WAVES: Basic wave reading, know where to go (right or left) and angle take off. improve your stance and generate speed or slow down by moving your feet and sit and turn 180º to get a faster approach to the wave.

Level 2: Intermediate
Might be looking for: Surf coaching or Surf trips

INERMEDIATE SURFER: Paddle through the break, advanced surf etiquette, angle any take off, ride the green part of the wave, use a fibre glass board and start projecting where you go and connect sections.

GENERATE SPEED: Improve your stance, make a faster take off and clean technique, generate speed, improve turtle roll, read waves properly, get confidence on intermediate level surf breaks, and do bottom turns.

MANEOUVERS: Understand maneouver decision-making, how to do cutbacks and bottom turns, floaters and carving, perfection your turtle roll or duck dive.

You don't need lessons or coaching: But you might want some local knowledge of how does the wave breaks, currents on water and bottom type. This info will might be key and very useful to maximize your surfing.

You don't need a surf guide: But this might help you to be more confortable in the surf break as get introduced into the local surfing culture.

We simply want to raise awareness and try to create a healthier and more harmonious environment in the water so that every surfer can fully enjoy their surf session with us.
